The Minister for Resources seeks expressions of interest from persons suitably qualified for appointment to the PFT Board as a member with expertise in forest or related sciences.

In accordance with the State Government’s Women on Boards Strategy 2020-2025, women are strongly encouraged to apply.

PFT is an independent government authority with a legislated role to facilitate and expand the development of Tasmania’s private forest resource in a sustainable manner which is consistent with the Private Forests Act 1994.

Enquiries regarding the role should be directed to Vanessa Pinto, Chief Operations Officer of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania via e-mail at statutoryauthorities@nre.tas.gov.au.
