Tasmanian Timber Awards 2023

The TFFPN is proud to present the third Tasmanian Timber Awards culminating with a Gala Awards Dinner on 15 September 2023 at the Tailrace Centre in Launceston. This follows the huge success of both the inaugural awards in 2019 and the 2021 event held at the Albert Hall.

The Tasmanian Timber Awards is a celebration of excellence and best practice within the forest industry. Each category recognises individuals and companies for their dedication to best practice, excellence and leadership in their roles and/or businesses. The Awards assists in recognising the forest industry as a significant contributor to the Tasmanian economy and community wellbeing. It also provides a significant boost in confidence regarding the sustainable and innovative future of the industry within the state.

Entries NOW OPEN

The 2023 Awards will again encompass all sectors of the industry, with 12 award categories open for submissions. There have been improvements built into the process following the learnings from previous years to ensure we encourage as many applicants as possible across the categories, attract respected industry judges and ensure the Awards continues to be the industry’s ‘night of nights.’

Outstanding Contribution to the Tasmanian Timber Industry
Trainee of the Year
Tree Grower of the Year
Excellence in Distribution & Logistics
Excellence in Design and/or Use of Tasmanian Timber
Timber Processing Excellence
Workplace Health and Safety Excellence
Excellence in Innovation
Excellence in Environmental Management and Practices
Excellence in Forest Growing & Management
Harvesting Excellence

Tickets for the Tasmanian timber industry’s night of night’s are now on sale! Tickets for the awards dinner will once again be limited, and if the past two years are anything to go by, they will sell out fast!

Members of the Network and those who work for funding Partners/Supporters of the TFFPN are entitled to special ticket pricing. Don’t delay, book your ticket or table of 10 now.
