The Clark's plant 60,000 pines as part of a carbon farming project

Tom and Sarah spoke with Gladys Barreta of the Tasmanian Country Newspaper on establishing their pine plantation with the assistance of Private Forests Tasmania's grant funding, and the multiple benefits trees can have to a farming enterprise.

Investing in a major carbon project is helping one Tasmanian family diversify their farming operation.
Tom and Sarah Clark have planted about 60,000 pine trees in the Central Highlands on their property at Ellendale as part of a carbon project.
The couple have been running and managing the Lanoma Forest Nursery for more than six years in addition to running their own cattle and sheep enterprise with properties at Westerway and Ellendale.
