Private Forests Tasmania is excited to announce its participation in Tasmania's premier agricultural event, Agfest, taking place from May 1-3, 2025, at Quercus Park in Carrick. This year, you can find us at the TasFarmers site on 704, 706, and 708 Seventh Avenue.
Agfest is a fantastic opportunity for farmers and landowners to engage directly with experts and learn more about sustainable timber growing practices. At our booth, you'll have the chance to have face-to-face chats with our team about the benefits and techniques of growing timber on your farm.
Join us on Thursday for our Forestry Table Talk hosted by Private Forests Tasmania and TasFarmers at 11am with a free morning tea from 10:45am. Hear from farmers John Lord and Sarah Clark about the successful integration of agroforestry to their farming enterprises, private native forest management, carbon, establishment, on-farm benefits and more.
