Leverage the carbon benefits and deliver better outcomes for our forests.
Date: Wednesday 11 September
Time: 12.30 – 1.45 pm (AEST)
CPD Points: 1.25
The Australian Government called for submissions as a new way of developing Australian Carbon Credits Units (ACCU) Scheme methods. Multiple stakeholders have proposed new and innovative methods, or changes to existing methods, as part of an EOI process. Some proposed methods provide an expansion of the projects that can qualify for ACCUs, increase opportunities for forest and land managers, leverage the carbon benefits forests bring, and deliver better outcomes for our forests.
Webinar attendees will learn from key representatives of proposals – join Blair Freeman (Enhancing Native Forest Resilience, the method proposed by Forestry Australia), Zoe Ryan (Integrated Farm and Land Management) and Steve Hrast (Alternative assurance pathway for Schedule 1 plantation forestry), as they share further details on respective methods. This session is for anyone engaged or interested in Australia's carbon market, and the future of forest management. A webinar not to be missed.
