PFT have commenced a project study to explore new and improved ways for Tasmania's private forest growers to access markets. We invite you to join a webinar briefing meeting where we will provide more detail on the project and outline the process for stakeholder participation.
This study will identify and describe potential options that enable stronger market connections, and long-term sector sustainability.
Margules Groome Consulting Pty LTD have been appointed by PFT following an expression of interest process. They will be looking at approaches to:
- Support growth of premium markets for forest products.
- Provide more efficient pathways into established forest product markets.
- Build grower, processor and service provider confidence through information and targeted support.
- Improve market transparency.
Your insights and perspectives will be critical as we refine the options and recommendations.
