Habitat Notes Found in dry sclerophyll forest, grassy forest, scrub and heath in those parts of the east coast and the Furneaux Group where fire frequency is low. It forms pure stands in some places but is usually found in rocky situations mixed with eucalypts. Hardy in most soils.
